How and when do Swedes celebrate Midsummer?
Midsummer in Sweden is not celebrated on the same date every year. It is celebrated on the Saturday between June 20 and June 26. Midsummer's Eve, which is the main day of celebration, always falls on the Friday before that Saturday.
Midsummer has been celebrated in Sweden for centuries, often with dancing around the maypole and enjoying traditional Swedish dishes like herring, salmon, and potatoes. If you want to celebrate Midsummer with classic food and a festive atmosphere, Sturehof is the place to be.
